Job Profile

The company is searching for an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join its maintenance team.

Education Level

  • Must have Vocational School, Associate Degree with 3 years of experience in Manufacturing facility or High School Diploma and 5 Years of Proven Experience in the field.

Work Experience

  • Experience troubleshooting electrical machinery in an industrial environment (relay logic, PLC, DC and Invertor Drives, VFD, 3-phase motors)
  • Working with and Troubleshooting Robotics (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated abilities to perform maintenance and repairs of electrical and electronic components of manufacturing equipment and facility systems up to 480 volts.
  • Demonstrated abilities to troubleshoot and repair all electrical and electronics problems (relays, sensors, switches, actuators, motors, PLCs, Drives, Machine/motion controls, etc.)
  • Demonstrated abilities to troubleshoot and successfully resolve issues with Machine and Supporting Systems components.
  • Demonstrated abilities to Troubleshoot and extend Power System for the facility with basic knowledge of Transformers, Switchgear, MCC, etc.
  • Effectively uses measuring, testing, and diagnostics devices and tools (Oscilloscope, Circuit testers, etc.)
  • Maintains accurate maintenance records in the CMMS, Reads Electrical Prints and Single Line Drawings as well as Schematics.
  • Performs basic welding, brazing, and cutting to fabricate items such as guardrails, brackets, and hangers.
  • Successfully conduct PM’s on Electrical and Mechanical Systems (including hydraulic, pneumatic, gearboxes, etc.)
  • Troubleshoots and resolves mechanical problems and makes repairs as needed.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.
