Educational Qualification

Applicants require a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

Possess 3+ years of experience in an aerospace environment
Knowledge/Practical experience in an aerospace environment

Duties/Responsibilities

Inspect weld for bead size and compliance with other specifications. Blend, grind, or polish weld ensuring specified minimum wall requirement is met. Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges to measure repaired parts and ensure dimensional requirements are met. Complete production paperwork.
Perform all types of EB welding to repair/replace damaged areas and cracks on aircraft parts and fixtures. Perform EB welding operations on aircraft components to meet NDT specifications and ensure an efficient flow of work to meet production schedules and demands.
Perform EB welding operations on titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, and Nickel alloy parts, following standardized working procedures and parameters.
Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and machines.
Work with Engineering to develop programs, determine new methods, develop parameters, and determine material type for new or modified products. Assist with developing new tooling ideas.
