The company is looking for an Equipment Operator to join its team.

Education Level

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Communicate on a regular and continuous basis with the field supervisor regarding the assigned work to accomplish and specific instructions.
  • Feed plant, load trucks, stockpile materials, push up stockpiles, and maintain clean yard and roadways
  • Inspect equipment and maintain a written log of all equipment-related deficiencies.
  • Maintain housekeeping of work site, including trash pickup, keeping tools in order, and proper storage of equipment at the end of the work day.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on assigned equipment (i.e., oil and filter changes, other equipment or motor repairs as necessary); notify supervisor of any deficiencies or repairs needed.
  • Safely operate rubber tire loader with competency and caution, and adhere to safety procedures and requirements
  • Use hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, sledgehammers, and others as needed to accomplish daily tasks to maintain or repair equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

  • Understanding safety protocols

Work Environment

  • Ability to climb heights of 20 feet regularly
  • Ability to lift, carry, or pull 100 pounds regularly
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work in a dusty, loud, noisy environment
  • Required to wear safety equipment, including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, steel-toed boots, earplugs, respirator, gloves, and various other similar items as required
