Job Profile
The company is seeking an Equipment Technician who will use small/power tools, and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and determine causes of operating problems in areas including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED
- Certifications: NAPA70E (Arcosa will train and certify)
Work Experience
- Possess work-related experience (up to 2 years)
Duties/Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities-
- Maintain attendance within acceptable standards
- Break down and repair or rebuild
- Install equipment from the ground up
- May tack weld (Stick or Mig) for minor repairs
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment such as motors, conveyors, mechanical components, or electrical wiring and electrical components for production equipment
- Perform basic troubleshooting/single phase/240v
- Perform complex repairs on production equipment motors and mechanical components including pneumatics and hydraulics
- Perform troubleshooting/3 Phase/equipment up to 480v
- Troubleshoot breakdowns on production equipment and mechanical components
- Wire electrical panels
Safety Activities-

- Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
