Job Profile
The company is seeking a Fabrication Machine Operator who is expected to prepare and process parts prior to assembly.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Duties/Responsibilities
- Completes production records by recording and delivering tubs and pallets of finished stock.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Determines sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Document actions by completing production, quality, and time forms.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions’ troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
- Identifies and anticipates safety and health concerns and hazards by surveying environmental, operational, and occupational conditions.
- Maintains production by identifying space for staged components; delivering components to work centers; requisitioning and verifying additional components.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Wears proper personal protective equipment.
- Maintains specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls; replacing dies
- Maintains stock inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available, anticipating needed stock, placing and expediting orders for stock, and verifying receipt of stock.
- Prepares machine for production by positioning and securing dies, stops, guides, and turntables.
- Produces parts by locating and marking reference points on the workpiece with a rule, compass, template, etc., positioning or aligning the workpiece against stops and guides or with die, operating equipment
- Regulates machining by setting and adjusting controls.
- Resolves production problems by altering processes to meet specifications; notifying the supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Perform any other tasks assigned
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications and follow procedures
- Attention to quality and pride in workmanship
- Basic understanding of shop math

Physical Demands
- Extended periods of standing
- Frequent crouching, kneeling, bending, and stooping
- Occasional ascending/descending stairs or ladder
- Occasional pushing or pulling
- Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime including Saturdays

- Work is primarily performed indoors
