Job Profile

The company is searching for a Fabrication Welder who will utilize and implement acquired welding knowledge, experience, and skill to weld aluminum and steel material and manufacturing parts and products for the tractor-trailer industry.

Mig and Tig experience preferred or a combination of one or the other.

Position Tiers-

  • Tier 1: Employees in this tier are new to the position. They are under direct supervision as they learn the skills and duties of the position.
  • Tier 2: Employees in this position have developed the skills required to perform the job. There is supervisor involvement in checking completed work for quality.
  • Tier 3: Employees in this position have mastered the skills required to perform the job. The individual does not need direct supervision and is responsible for training new employees in the department.

Education Level

  • Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

  • Experience or knowledge in tractor-trailer building (preferred)
  • Experience in a manufacturing-related field (preferred)
  • Mechanical experience (preferred)
  • Mechanical proficiency (preferred)
  • Must pass company-approved weld test (experienced welders only)
  • Proficiency in Steel and Aluminum MIG welding (preferred)


  • Communicate with supervisors/managers issues of concern and any other pertinent information that affect safety and the productive completion of quality products and schedule of products
  • Keep the work area clean and organized during and at the end of the shift
  • Organize and restock parts and materials
  • Perform and abide by safety policies and procedures while welding and performing other related task assignments
  • Perform assignment of work to contribute to material, parts, and products produced according to MAC’s quality and quantity standards while supporting a safe work environment
  • Perform daily custom build fit/up and welding assignments
  • Review specification documentation and information related to assignments to ensure products are manufactured to customer specifications and Beall’s quality standards
  • Any other duties assigned

Physical Demands

  • Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
  • Ability to physically inspect own work and perform work in various positions
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift various materials including aluminum, steel, and parts
