Job Profile

The company is seeking a Fabricator to join its team.

Job Commitments-

  • Operate hand tools required for performing a job.
  • Properly identify all fabricated material and segregate material by the job.
  • Program and operate machines in their assigned work area.

Educational Qualification

  • The applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

  • The candidates should have a 1 year of manufacturing experience (preferred)
  • Previous machine operation experience (preferred)
  • Previous metal fabrication experience (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Tasks may vary by work area and work assignments may change based on business demands.
  • This position is expected to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the building of our product.
  • This position is responsible for safely performing high-level repetitive work to quality standards.

What Qualifies You?

  • Assist co-workers within the area and in other areas as needed/directed
  • Be knowledgeable of all applicable safety rules and procedures.
  • Communicate with Team Leader and Production Leader to determine needs and provide materials as needed.
  • Effectively use measuring devices to ensure accuracy of cuts.
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • Form pieces of metal to prescribed dimensions.
  • Move material using a forklift, crane, or wheeled carts/tables.
  • Operate hand tools required for performing job duties.
  • Perform general housekeeping of work area.
  • Perform spot welding or assembly if required.
  • Produce quality work.
  • Program and operate machines in the assigned work areas.
  • Properly identify all fabricated material and segregate material by the job.
  • Read print drawings to determine dimensions, design, and materials needed.
  • Suggest process improvement ideas.
  • Work as a team to accomplish goals.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to identify routine problem causation and correct routine problems.
  • Ability to learn to operate all equipment associated with the job.
  • Ability to perform work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to read a tape measure.
  • Able to read blueprints.
  • Basic math skills with knowledge of the decimal system.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Commitment to performing quality work.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of and willingness to comply with all general work rules, policies, and procedures, including safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Willingness to learn all tasks required to perform the job.
