Job Profile

The company is seeking a Fabricator to join its team and achieve long-term career goals.

Educational Qualification

• The applicants may be required a High School Diploma or GED.

Work Experience

• The candidates should have previous work experience in the related field.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Daily inspections – look for any unsafe objects, check equipment, etc.
• Match glass work orders with a picking list
• Regular and predictable attendance, safe performance of tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job.
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure the product is within the product specifications

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with a partner
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Must be able to wear company-issued cut-resistant safety shirt, cut resistant apron/chaps, hard hat, steel-toed shoes with metatarsal protection, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection
• Must be able to work and communicate as a member of a team
• Must be able to work overtime with flexible starting times
• Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• The shop floor working environment is subject to unusually warm temperatures during the summer months due to the heat generated by the glass furnaces.
• Must be able to work in temperatures consistent with the same outdoor climate conditions of the region (heat, humidity, etc.)
