Job Profile

The company is searching for a Fabricator/Assembler who will build a range of low-volume, high-value products to a high-quality standard in line with the production schedule.

  • Experience working within a low-volume, high-value production environment
  • Experience in using hand and power tools

Duties/Responsibilities

  • The role involves the assembly and build of a range of products including Sargasso ports, electric windows, screens, and large stainless steel patio doors.
  • The duties can range from the assembly of small products to TIG welding aluminum or thin gauge stainless steel, metal polishing, stretch bending metal, using an XYZ mill, routering acrylic, to building prototype products such as roofing systems. Therefore, candidates must be willing to learn and be capable of working both as part of a team and on their own.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to communicate with team members and take direction from their supervisor.
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching during the working day.
  • May have to lift or move items between 10-15kg.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily working indoors, manufacturing environment
  • Will require standing for several hours at a time
