Job Profile

The company is seeking a Fabricator B to join its team for manufacturing requirements.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess previous work-related experience or any vocational training (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist Fabrication Tech A when necessary
• Conducts spot welding
• Cross-training and knowledge sharing with peers
• Designs and constructs templates and fixtures
• Fabricates and assembles structural metal products
• Locates and marks bending and cutting lines
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow standard safety practices and regulations.
• Verifies conformance of work piece to specifications, using a square ruler, and measuring tape
• Other miscellaneous duties as required/assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Demonstrates shop math skills
• Must be able to work independently and train others if required
• Must have an understanding of balance and vibration principles.
• Can interpret blueprints, specifications, production layouts, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, etc.
