The company is seeking a Fabricator/Fitter to join its team.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Knowledge of crane rigging experience with large parts is a plus

Duties/Responsibilities

• Align parts or workpieces to ensure proper assembly
• Commitment to a safe work environment, quality products, and teamwork.
• Lay out parts to prepare for assembly
• Lift materials or workpieces using cranes or other lifting equipment.
• Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.
• Mount materials or workpieces onto production equipment.
• Operate cutting equipment.
• Operate grinding equipment.
• Operate welding equipment.
• Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements.
• Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.
• Smooth metal surfaces or edges.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Strong math skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and fabricate complex structural steel projects.
• Knowledge of welding processes especially MIG, Submerged Arc, Flux Core, and Gas metal arc welding.
