Job Profile
The company is recruiting a Facilities Maintenance who will install, troubleshoot, and repair, perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, machinery controls, or industrial electrical wiring.
Requires a high level of skill and proficiency in each of these areas and must function as a technical specialist in at least one
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have an Associate’s Degree in a related technical field or an accredited certificate (preferred) – College/University
Work Experience
- Possess 3 to 5 years of working experience in the field of building maintenance mechanic construction, industrial electrical wiring, and capital equipment repair.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Communicate/relate to personnel/supervisors in all areas of the plant.
- Determine wire and conduit size and install electrical power (480V and below) to equipment, and repair or replace wiring and fixtures.
- Dismantle machines or equipment to gain access to defective parts and repair them using hand tools and instruction manuals.
- Follow all security and safety instructions.
- Have knowledge of HVAC systems, gas boilers, direct expansion air-conditioning, and controls.
- Have knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
- Measure, cut, and install pipe (copper, stainless, PVC) and tubing for gas and water, using cutting and threading die tools or soldering equipment.
- Operate gas or arc welding equipment to fabricate metal framing, fixtures, stands, and other equipment parts.
- Perform work in accordance with drawings, schematics, manuals, and building codes.
- Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, flow meters, pumps, and other plumbing equipment.
- Troubleshoot existing equipment control circuits including relay logic controls.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
