Job Profile
The company is recruiting a Facility Maintenance Technician who will perform preventative and routine maintenance throughout the plant. The duties will include but are not limited to, maintenance of manufacturing industrial equipment, docks/warehouse, and other related buildings.
Company large tools/equipment (ladders, welder, air compressor, gas saw, and cutting torches) provided.
Educational Qualification
- No education level is mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus
Work Experience
- Must have 2 years of experience in industrial facility maintenance
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of industrial experience in the following trades – electric (3 phase), mechanical, plumbing, welding, and carpentry
- Skilled trade experience in electric, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and mechanical equipment operation
Duties/Responsibilities
- Electrical maintenance and repairs of control cabinets, VFDs, starters, motors, robotics
- Maintenance of overhead doors, dock plates, lighting, electrical, light concrete work, light plumbing repairs (fixtures, lines, drywall, painting, metal siding), and other duties as needed
- Mechanical maintenance and repairs of wood pellet mills, hammer mills, drum dryers, dust collectors, hydraulics, augers, conveyor belts, drag chains, air compressors
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Must have own hand tools (wrenches, saws, drills, screwdrivers, gauges, VOM, etc)
