The company is looking for a Field Construction Welder to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Contribute to division results and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement by conducting daily housekeeping/5S audits.
• Enter work hours into the ERP system (currently SAP).
• Follow all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
• Follow the red-line process and recommend modifications or improvements as needed.
• Interpret engineered drawings, applying weld symbols and dimensions.
• Perform basic operations using hand and power tools, including chipping hammers and grinders.
• Perform welding operations using various techniques, including SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GMAW-P, TIG, and Carbon Arc welding from blueprints.
• Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
• Troubleshoot and repair consumable failures (e.g., spring liners, tip nozzle insulators).
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment issues such as faulty consumables.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, managers, and peers to produce quality products on time.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to obtain AWS certifications (training will be provided).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Operation of various hand and power tools.
• Proficiency in SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GMAW-P, TIG, and Carbon Arc welding from blueprints.
• Training and certification opportunities are available.
