The company is hiring a Field Craftsman to work with its field division.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)

Work Experience

• Welding experience (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assuming adherence to safety policies and procedures. Ensuring compliance with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.
• Communicating with client representatives and other contractors as necessary.
• Completing work as assigned by the site supervisor.
• Providing technical assistance (i.e., interpretation of drawings, construction methods, etc.)
• Perform all other additional assignments per the supervisor or project manager’s direction.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Ability to read drawings/sketches and blueprints.
• Bilingual Skills (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety.
• Familiar with hand and power tools.
• Familiar with piping systems.
• Mechanically Minded

Physical Requirements

• Continually walk/stand on surfaces which may be even/uneven, stable/unstable, and varying compositions.
• Excellent hand/eye coordination, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
• The ability to routinely lift up to 75+ lbs.
• Work in awkward spaces or positions including confined spaces and climbing.
