Job Profile

The company is seeking a Field Service Technician who will be responsible for providing prompt support to CVE customers both in the field and remotely.

Educational Qualification

• The applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• The candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service
• Provide field support, which includes maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and repairs, upgrades, installation, commissioning, and training
• Support customers remotely by phone and email

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read and understand mechanical schematics
• Competent in electrical safety procedures and practices
• Excellent analytical and organization skills, with close attention to detail
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Good knowledge of electrical components and theory
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

Desirable Skills/Experience-

• 480 Volt 3 phase circuits
• Electron beam welding
• PC networking/systems
• PLC and CNC controls
• Troubleshooting electrical systems
• Working with high voltage power supplies
• Working with vacuum

Physical Requirements

• Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be physically able to carry out a level of physical work (be able to lift up to 50 pounds)
• Traveling worldwide but primarily in the USA, Canada, and Mexico

Other Requirements

• Clean and valid driver’s license
• Clean passport; no visa/passport bans
• No criminal charges that would prevent security clearance into customer sites specifically in the USA
