Job Profile

The company is looking for a Field Service Technician who will install and maintain cryogenic pressure vessels in industrial, medical, specialty gas, and welding markets.

Educational Qualification

  • The applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • College or Technical Degree is preferred

Work Experience

  • Working experience not mentioned, yet having this will be considered a plus.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Complete site surveys and assessments at prospective customer locations.
  • Deliver, install and maintain all cryogenic pressure vessels in the Airgas customer base. The gases include oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium, hydrogen, acetylene, carbon dioxide, and nitrous oxide.
  • Install and maintain cryogenic pumping systems at regional Airgas fill plants.
  • Install piping and manifolds systems for medical and industrial applications.
  • Maintain inventory of parts and supplies. Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks on a regularly scheduled basis of all cryogenic pressure vessels

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Must be able to pass testing to obtain Medical Certificate & Brazing License.
  • Must be able to read and interpret schematics, electrical drawings, and Material Safety Data Sheets
  • Must be able to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -10 to over 110 degrees.
  • Must be mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand tools (electrical and manual)
