The company is hiring a Flange Milling Operator to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Graduation from an accredited trade school

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability to identify and communicate maintenance or product problems to departmental supervision
• Actively participate in department safety, demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors that conform to all safety policies and procedures, follow all OSHA safety regulations, and wear prescribed PPE as required.
• Comply with all Keystone Tower Systems Company and Safety policies and procedures.
• Embrace the culture of Lean Manufacturing and the implementation of change
• Mill and deburr the flange before presenting it to the Quality Inspectors. This person will also repair all defects as directed by the Quality Inspectors
• Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
• Perform most of the work individually. Essential tools and equipment will be provided; however, accountability and maintenance will be the employee’s responsibility
• Work from the directions of the supervisor to move Wind Tower sections, set up and operate the Milling Machine, follow, and complete the daily build schedule.
• Work timely and expeditiously to deliver an on-time product without manufacturing errors
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, manufacturing drawings, or similar information
• The ability to calculate formulas using basic mathematics, standard US and Metric Measurements
