Work Experience

• 4 years of manufacturing or related experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• 5S activities for all responsible areas (sorting, organizing, cleaning, sweeping).
• Develop intimate knowledge of the processes supported.
• Facilitate the flow of materials by participating in the production process, including assembly, building of components, shipping, and receiving as needed.
• Flexibility to cross-train as necessary.
• Keep the workplace clean and organized to facilitate the efficient flow of materials.
• Movement of materials to their intended locations.
• Pick up and drop off materials at pre-designated areas at scheduled intervals.
• Transacting material to jobs and non-conformances.
• Work with purchasing and supply chain in the inventory management process, including cycle counting, physical inventory, and notification of stock-outs.
• Other duties as requested by management.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to read and write fluent English
• Computer skills and MS Office experience (preferred)

Work Environment

• Able to lift 45 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods up to 4 hours at a time
• Organized workspace and product
