Job Profile

The company is looking for a General Laborer to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Work Experience

• Proficient in steel and aluminum MIG/TIG welding (Qualified Welder)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate tools and equipment and use safe work habits.
• Perform custom build/repair fit-up and welding assignments.
• Perform Electrical and Air Systems repairs and diagnostics.
• Repair or replace material, drill holes in frame or body, install reflective tape, replace or repair suspension(s), brake replacement or adjustment.
• Review and interpret specification documentation and information related to assignments to ensure the product is repaired to customer specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to accurately read and interpret drawings, prints, and a tape measure.
• Ability to accurately use and read micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments.
• Demonstrated full range of tank knowledge and expertise.
• Demonstrated mechanical skills.
• Proficient knowledge of tank electric and hydraulics.

Physical Demands

• Ability to fit into and work in confined spaces
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to wear a tight face-fitting respirator
• Ability to work at heights of up to 15 feet

Work Environment

• 100% of the time is spent in a factory environment with noise, dust, and mechanical operations
