Job Profile

The company is searching for a HVAC Project Mechanic Journeyman who will support the fast-growing HVAC business in North America.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma (credible)

Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, or mechanical equipment service/construction.

License/Certification

  • Journeyman License
  • Valid driver’s license and appropriate certifications for refrigerants, boilers, and steam systems.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Install and retrofit HVAC mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Join pipes using various methods (e.g., soldering, brazing, welding).
  • Maintain communication with customers and project teams.
  • Oversee project installations and ensure quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems including boilers, chillers, and steam systems.
  • Uphold safety standards and participate in factory certification programs.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to pass background checks and work on secure sites.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting, pipefitting, welding, and communication skills.

Work Environment

  • Follows strict safety and HVAC codes
  • May work in cramped or high places
  • Noisy environments, may wear hearing protection
  • Stands, bends, lifts heavy tools daily
  • Works indoors and outdoors in all weather
