The company is hiring an Industrial Machine Repair to join its team.

Educational Level

• High School Education or equivalent
• Additional experience, training, or formal Education is beneficial.

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Capable of rebuilding and or repairing machines or assemblies to original operating conditions.
• Familiar with the cold heading, hot forging, and roll thread equipment a plus
• Must be able to communicate, discuss, or review repair problems with Engineering, the Tool Room, Production Team Leads, or vendors as needed.
• Must be able to fabricate, weld, or machine parts as required.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and general machinery.
• Responsible for PM work or documentation of product equipment or processes.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and understand written specifications, procedures, and prints.
• Ability to use various measuring devices (torque wrench, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.)
• Must be able to operate basic maintenance equipment (saw, crane, shear, tow motor, roller, etc.)
• Must be able to work 2nd shift
• Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and must work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Must possess excellent mechanical aptitude and above-average hand dexterity.
• Must possess good organizational and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently bends, twists, and turns, reaches lower than the knee, pushes and pulls, squats, and kneels.
• Frequently lift 11- 50 lbs.
• Lifts above shoulder occasionally.
• Moderate to heavy physical effort is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to operate lift truck – climb on and off a truck, steer, and use hand-operated levers to control.
• Occasionally lift 51-100 lbs.
