Job Profile

The company is looking for an Industrial Maintenance CNC Technician II to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED
• Be at least 18 years or older

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience performing mechanical maintenance in an industrial, large commercial, or warehouse environment, or demonstrated an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be willing to work overtime when required.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Conducts planned preventive maintenance inspections and performs required preventative maintenance actions (lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc.) as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Operates a PC with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, laptop computers, and diagnostic hardware to perform work.
• Reviews and submits work order updates to planner scheduler.
• Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.

• May require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
• Requires the ability and flexibility to bend/stoop, squat, move in a 90-degree fashion, and stretch/reach repetitively throughout the shift.
• Requires the ability to differentiate colors about wire color-coding.
• Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
• Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladders, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during a shift.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
• Requires the use of a Company/Client-approved utility knife.
• Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
• Wear steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic computer skills for data entry, email, etc.
• Experience safely utilizing a wide variety of hand and power tools
• Knowledge of basic electrical theory
• Knowledge of basic repair theory
• Mechanical skills, sufficient to assist with and perform preventive maintenance and repairs to facility-related equipment such as lubrication, cleaning, and filter changes.
