Job Profile
The company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician who will provide safe and timely electrical and mechanical support, including but not limited to preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting, and resolution for multiple operating machines within a corrugated manufacturing environment.
Education Level
- Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus
Work Experience
- General industrial maintenance experience with an emphasis on electrical components
- Welding proficiency (a plus)
- Prior Corrugator/Converting equipment experience (strongly desired)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ability to work weekends and other OT as required.
- Completes preventative maintenance of scheduled machinery
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain mechanical equipment including but not limited to: VFDs, Servo Motors, pumps, pump and motor alignment, hydraulic, pneumatic, and all other electrical/mechanical systems.
- Performs Lockout/Tagout per procedure for various operations and maintenance personnel.
- Provide resolution to mechanical and electrical problems in machinery.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Able to react and troubleshoot quickly in a very fast-paced environment
- Able to read schematics and ladder logic
- Electrical knowledge
- Knowledge of OSHA Safety Standards and Regulations
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Must provide own tools and toolbox
- Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery includes motors, pumps, drives, relays, 3-phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
