Job Profile

The company is looking for an Inside Sales Representative who will sell medical, industrial, specialty gases, welding equipment, and hard goods and tools to customers.

Responds to inquiries or concerns from either walk-in customers or those customers that call in, provides additional warehouse support, and works closely with a team of Account Managers to support customers.

Educational Qualification

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2-year Degree (preferred)

Work Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or sales experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers
• Operates the cash register. Enters sales data into the computer and researches information for customers using the computer system.
• Provide support for the field sales representative.
• Sell industrial gases, welding equipment, power, and hand tools to customers.
• Stock inventory, and showroom displays while maintaining indoor/outdoor warehouses and cylinder management.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Adequate computer skills
• Knowledge of welding, gases, industrial, and safety supply sales preferred.
• Lives by Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, and procedures that apply to this position’s responsibilities.
