Job Profile

The company is recruiting an Inspector who has demonstrated the satisfactory completion of a recognized apprenticeship in a precision engineering profession or holds 4 years of experience or more in that profession.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a College Diploma in Aeronautics
• A Diploma of Professional Studies in Aerospace
• A Certificate of Study in Aeronautics recognized by the Ministry of Education

Work Experience

• Possess relevant aeronautical training and experience acquired in the Canadian armed forces

Duties/Responsibilities

• Engine strip inspections
• Gauge rooms and dimensional component inspections
• Inspections with or without visual aid or endoscope
• Repetitive assembly inspections
• Repetitive detail inspections
• Sheet metal, welding, polishing, and procedures
• Simple dimensional inspections
• Stamping and engraving for identification purposes

Secondary Tasks-

• Demagnetizing
• Electrical verifications using equipment (multimeter, DitmCO)
• Ensure that the expiration dates of calibrated and lifting tools are consistent, as well as out-of-stock hardware parts (bin items) within their respective workstations.
• Update the work plan in the system and verbally
• Repairing and polishing components using repair schematics
  -Helicoil
  -Shank nut
  -Trap nut
  -Polishing
  -Preparation for decontamination of chrome 6 engine components
  -Non-destructive testing
  -Boroblend

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read, speaks, write, understand, and verbally express ideas and instructions in French
