Job Profile

The company is seeking an Installer Repair who will be responsible for assisting in the flow of production.

Install all slide-outs, install all x-shafts, add nuts and bolts, time the slide-outs, install the room bar, and make sure the room bar height is correct.

Help finish the chassis fabricator with any other assemblies that need to be done on a chassis.

  • Install post-powder materials
  • Perform repairs to damaged units
  • Reading prints

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Know how to read a tape measure
  • Know how to read prints and understand install reports
  • Mechanical skills
  • Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow team members, customers, etc.;
  • Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes throughout the day.
  • Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to measurements, directions, instructions, etc.;
  • Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company’s overall goals;
  • Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations;
  • Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English);
  • Must possess successful problem-solving skills
  • Paint department knowledge
  • Plasma skills/weld skills

Working Conditions

  • May sit or stand for several hours at a time.
  • Primarily on the floor/in the work, could be exposed to elements (heat, snow, etc.)
  • Repetitive use of hands to operate machinery.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Requires 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling. The team member may have to lift or move items over 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Requires Personal Protective Equipment. Protective Equipment supplied by the company includes: Coating suit, Coating Boots, Spray Socks, Respirator, Work Gloves, Safety Glasses, and Ear Plugs.
  • May be required to provide additional Protective Equipment (Safety Shoes, etc.).
