Job Profile
The company is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join its team.
This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician OR a degree in an instrumentation field (required)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Demonstrates ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and wiring schematics.
- Demonstrates knowledge of flow, pressure, temperature, and level instrumentation.
- Maintains and repairs electronic and pneumatic instrumentation.
- Maintains and troubleshoots various types of solenoid valves, switches, meters, indicators, and temperature sensors.
- Performs work activities in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
- Possesses a basic understanding and application of instrumentation maths and units of measurement.
- Uses test equipment and performs routine calibrations.
