Job Profile

The company is seeking an Integration Technician who will complete all engineered system assembly, electrical and mechanical, system debug, teardown, and installation while meeting company standards.

Education Level

  • Technical Degree in a similar engineering field (required) or equivalent industry experience

Work Experience

  • Experience in robotic welding (Mig, Tig, Laser, or Spot) – strongly preferred
  • Machine programming (PLC/HMI) experience – Rockwell, GE
  • Network programming and troubleshooting experience
  • Robot programming experience – Fanuc or ABB
  • Safety system programming and troubleshooting experience
  • Educational, training, and experience requirements may be modified at the management team’s discretion.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist in field start-up and customer training when necessary (i.e., travel)
  • Assist in-house customer service support (i.e., training, phone, service calls, etc.)
  • Ensure system schematics are updated to as-build conditions
  • Provide the following system troubleshooting needs: wiring, mechanical assembly
  • Take initiative to meet challenging project timelines and hour budgets
  • Travel for Installations and Service Calls
  • Uphold company quality objectives and play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives
  • Working knowledge of PLC, HMI, robot logic/path programming, networking
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Health/Safety

  • Attend required EH&S training.
  • Be aware of OSHA and EPA laws and regulations as well as company rules and policies that pertain to this job.
  • Immediately notify the supervisor if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly, or if there are any questions regarding EH&S procedures.
  • Understand the Company’s EH&S Policy and how it relates to this job.
  • Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EH&S procedures.

Physical Demands

  • Typically required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend; squat; climb; talk, see, and hear.
  • Be able to climb ladders; lift hand tools approx. 1-15 lbs. in weight to complete machine assembly, parts up to 50 lbs.
  • Repetition with activity.

Work Environment

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate; the temperature in the assembly area may fluctuate with the seasons, as the production area is not air-conditioned.
