Job Profile

The company is searching for a Jigs/Fixtures Person to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED
• Trade School Technical training beneficial

Work Experience

• Must have prior experience in the operation of CNC machining, operation of manual lathes, bridge ports, and welding machines.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Actively perform work to ensure continuous improvement criteria are met.
• Assemble jigs and fixtures.
• Develop production tooling as required using engineering drawings, tool designs or own ideas as required to complete tasks.
• Repair production tooling or improvise as required.
• Set up and operate all equipment required to manufacture components to print.
• Use safe working practices and report unsafe working conditions.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering to improve manufacturing processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must have a good math background
• Must be able to comprehend and follow verbal instructions.
• Must show a good attendance record.
• Must be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings.
