The company is hiring a Journeyman Electrician to join its team.

Work Experience

  • Must have experience in the field/plant

License/Certification

  • Must meet all WY Licensing requirements for Journeyman Electrician
  • A current Wyoming journeyman license or be able to reciprocate (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety requirements, local NEC, and NEC codes
  • Determine appropriate actions for work performed based on written, diagrammatic, or verbal instructions received
  • Determine causes of defective performance and make repairs as needed
  • Maintain current technical knowledge of government and company policies, codes, and regulations
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all electrical equipment
  • Replace faulty wiring and electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, VFDs, printed circuit boards, position sensing devices, and maintain electrical substation equipment
  • Responsible for following safety procedures and maintaining safety data

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Must be comfortable with computers and configuration software
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug, background, and fit tests before hiring.
