The company is searching for a Journeyman Millwright to join its team.

Work Experience
- Journeyman – Typically 3 years and above documented field experience in a chosen craft discipline with the ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan, and perform work activities independently.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
- Assembles and installs equipment, such as shaffing, conveyors, and tram rails, using cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Assembles machines and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to the foundation or other structures using hand tools and power tools.
- Be capable of listening and communicating with other supervisors and employees.
- Be motivated and work safely and productively.
- Constructs foundations for machines using hand tools and building materials, such as wood, cement, and steel.
- Dismantles machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
- Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- May install robot and modify its program using teach pendant.
- May operate engine lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.
- May use transit and level for equipment setting.
- Moves machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
- Knowledge of optical and laser alignments.
- Performs lubricating maintenance, cleaning activities, or repair of tools, machines, and equipment.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, layout plans, vendor installation and operation manuals, and other schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
- Understand and respond accordingly to all safety alerts, warnings, hazards, etc.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- May be required consistently to work 12-hour shifts performing construction-based labor in varying temperature extremes and conditions.
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing no more than 50 pounds.
- May be required, on occasion, to work up to 16 hours in a single shift.
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms, and other job-related noises.
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance on stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and steel framework.
- Must be able to move in and around confined and uneven areas.
- Must be able to perform the following actions to the frequency stated
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age.
- Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above.
- Use effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination are consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces.
