Job Profile

The company is hiring a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to join its team.

Education Level

• HNC/Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience in heat exchanger manufacture Communication skills.

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Desired Experiences-

• Able to apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing to industry standards.
• Aerospace, Automotive, or Oil and Gas background favorable
• Heat exchanger manufacturer or experience in fabrication, brazing, and welding assembly processes.
• SAP experience
• Siemens NX proficient (or other 2D/ 3D), in modeling, drafting, and assemblies.
• Teamcenter PLM experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Deliver New Product Introduction (NPI) manufacturing activity as required.
• Support the creation of PFMEA, PPAP, and PRS documents
• Review drawings and specifications to establish the manufacturing process.
• Perform controlled builds.
• Support activity to achieve total manufacturing cost (TMC)
• Support team in the use of CORE Tools and Lean activities
• Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety requirements.
• Production support-
• Control of Tooling, Test Fittings and Fixtures
• Non-conformance analysis
• Resolve day-to-day problems.
• Contribute to RRCA
• Identify process improvement.
• Creating and updating routes and Bills of Material (BOM)
• Creating, and updating standard work and operation workbooks

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Should be comfortable challenging existing methods and suggesting improvements.
• Organization abilities (attention to detail) Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
