Job Profile

The company is searching for a Laser Operator I with experience operating and troubleshooting CNC flat laser machines.

Education Level

• High School or Equivalent

Work Experience

• At least 1+ years of experience running flat lasers

Duties/Responsibilities

• Log job information accurately into the computer
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning assignments as needed
• Perform quality checks on parts
• Perform safe operation of flat lasers
• Pull and coordinate parts for transport as needed
• Read and interpret flat blueprints
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Line Lead/Supervisor

Preferred Qualifications

• Outstanding attention to detail
• Prior fabrication coursework is a plus
• Prior forklift experience is a plus
• Prior ISO experience is a plus
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
• Prior overhead crane experience is a plus

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions, work orders, or customer specifications
• Ability to use measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
• Basic ability to read flat blueprints
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Mechanical aptitude
