Job Profile

The company is seeking a Laser/Press Brake Operator who will be responsible for operating the laser and press brake machines.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 or over

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience in laser and press brake operation and programming (preferred)
• 2 years of experience in metal fabrication (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Basic setup and tool loading on press brake.
• Converting SolidWorks files into laser sheet metal files for production.
• Creating standard work instructions to assist with the setup of new and existing programs.
• Effectively communicate with Staff, to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Operation of TRUMPF Boost Laser cutting and bending system programs.
• Programming files for laser cut nesting.
• Troubleshooting CNC programs and implementing process improvements.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to speak English fluently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• CNC laser cutting, bending systems, and workflows.
• Self-motivated, assertive, and responsive to company metrics.
• Sheet metal fabrication and similar equipment.
• Understanding of welding and final assembly of complex sheet metal assemblies.
• Work cooperatively and productively with other departments.
• Prior use of TRUMP systems, Boost Programs, or Tru Tops is ideal.
• Basic computer skills are required.
