Job Profile
The company is searching for a Lead Assembler who will be responsible for hooking up leads on secondary and primary coils and accessories for single and three-phase transformers.
Educational Qualification
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution (required)
Work Experience
- Previous electrical experience or education in AC/DC (preferred)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assemble and hook up dual voltage switches, tap changers singularly or in gangs, and other accessories required. Must take into consideration the positioning, clearances, etc., required for tanking.
- Braze, weld, or crimp secondary leads to coil.
- Fit and cut wood braces for secondary and primary leads, including layout, and bolt onto core and coil frame.
- Measure and cut leads to proper lengths. Measure, cut, strip, insulate, and crimp terminals on other required leads.
- Mig weld laminated leads to the bus bar.
- Minor coil repair, as needed caused by handling, etc.
- Position and shape the leads for proper clearances within the tank.
- Read Blueprints and Schematics
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work overtime when required

- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
- No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.
- Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
