Work Experience

• 5 years of fabrication experience
• Lead or supervisory experience in a Fabrication Shop (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assure safe workplace practices are followed and promote safety awareness through leading by example
• Handle multiple priorities, while allowing for flexibility, offering solutions, and changing course as needed to complete tasks safely and efficiently under demanding circumstances
• Manage supplies
• Organize and manage multiple projects from concept to completion
• Oversee daily work assignments and work schedules to ensure product and work quality
• Oversee skilled fabricators in the processes of fabrication, repair, and diagnostic work in an industrial shop
• Plan future jobs to ensure productivity
• Recognize and recommend crew commendation, corrective, disciplinary, and discharge actions
• Resolve problems and troubleshoot repairs
• Work with engineers, fabricators, and machinists to resolve drawing, manufacturing, and process issues

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Knowledge of fabrication processes and welding
• Proven commitment to safety and Company policy
