Job Profile

The company is hiring a Lead Manufacturing Engineer who will work in a production shop environment and serve as a manufacturing product engineer.

Provide exposure to lean principles and techniques as we redesign and improve our processes and layout.

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College, or (a High School Diploma with at least 4 years of experience) manufacturing setting

Work Experience

  • Minimum 3 additional years of experience in manufacturing/production
  • GE Leadership Program Graduate in place of experience is permitted
  • Advanced experience in manufacturing or production.
  • Experience with CNC machining, resistance welding, TIG welding, vertical/horizontal lathe, milling, heat treat, brazing, and fabrication

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish their work. In-depth understanding of how the work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • Uses judgment and can propose different solutions outside of set parameters with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of their team to arrive at decisions.
