The company is hiring a Lead Quality Inspector to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma (credible)

Work Experience

• 5 years of experience as an NDT Quality Inspector within a similar field (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Complete inspection records and reports
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Make visual and measured inspection of products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if the product meets all requirements
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• May inspect materials or plates, outgoing materials, fittings, and welds throughout the manufacturing process.
• May perform magnetic particle inspection
• May perform x-ray, destructive, or non-destructive examination to verify specified dimensions, strengths, and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment
• Serve as Team Lead on our weekend shift
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to complete training for NDE inspection in Visual Inspection (VT), Magnetic Particle inspection (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Dimensional inspection
• Ability to maintain good attendance and meet a demanding pace and schedule, which typically involves working 6 days a week
• Critical thinking skills and a desire to learn and keep up in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

• May be exposed to noise and machinery
• Stands for long periods during inspections
• Wears safety gear (gloves, goggles, etc.)
• Works in manufacturing or warehouse environments
• Works shifts, sometimes evenings or weekends
