Job Profile

The company is hiring a Lube Technician who will perform preventative and minor repair and restorative maintenance on heavy industrial equipment.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Work Experience

• Experience working in an industrial shop environment

Preferred Ones-

• CAT SIS Program experience
• Experience working with Visionlink
• Mechanics’ certifications
• SAP experience
• Welding experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Check and fill fluids, service lube points, and perform routine preventative maintenance
• Keep the work area clean and orderly
• Maintain positive relationships with plant personnel
• Maintain service, repair, and maintenance records
• Prepare work orders and order parts in SAP
• Service and perform minor repairs on gas and diesel heavy equipment such as scrapers, excavators, dozers, haul trucks, wheel loaders, water and lube trucks, pick-ups, and other support equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to operate vehicles and equipment for testing and troubleshooting before and after performing maintenance activities
• Able to provide own tools
• Able to work both independently and within a team
• A clean driving record and a valid driver’s license (required)
• Physical requirements: able to lift 60 lbs., bending, stooping, and stretching regularly
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer programs
