Job Profile
The company is looking for a Machine Builder who will help with the final assembly of the products.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience
- Minimum 6 months of relevant experience (required)
- Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic experience (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assembles all variations of in-house standard products
- Assembles mechanical or electrical components using sensitive hand and equipment coordination
- Completes required documentation relative to production and quality
- Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
- Enter work hours in the ERP system (Currently SAP), if applicable to the site
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
- Follows assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, PVC solvent welding, and thread taping.
- Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition
- May read and interpret blueprints (product-specific)
- Occasionally assist with in-house plumbing mechanical work
- Receives components or items for assembly or test in programmed sequence
- Completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality.
- Update and redline drawings as required
- Uses simple hand or power tools along with complicated jigs and fixtures
- Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures
- Will plumb variations of standard and custom products
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to troubleshoot and rebuild filter presses (highly preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints (if applicable)
- Proficient in the use of hand tools
