Job Profile

The company is seeking a Machine Operator who will perform functions that are associated with operating CNC/Laser machines and plasma cutters.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED Certification (preferred)

Work Experience

• At least 1 year of job experience or schooling with CNC/Laser Machines

Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Machines, Laser, Brake Press, Saw and Plasma Cutter
• Operate forklift
• Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions
• Perform Quality checks
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to gain knowledge and use the machine control panels
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products
• Ability to obtain JOST International Fork Lift Certification
• Ability to read and interpret part-dimensional prints
• Ability to read and write legibly (a must)
• Basic math skills required
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety, and Jost company policies and procedures

Physical Demands

• Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of the time
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, twist, and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull, or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance
