Job Profile

The company is seeking a Machine Operator to join its Press Brake team.

Educational Qualification

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)

Work Experience

• 3-5 years of related experience operating production machinery such as press brakes, punch presses, spot welders, shears, gas welding, and MIG welding
• Blueprint reading experience (required)
• Experience using verniers and depth gauges

Duties/Responsibilities

• Operates hand tools in order to make adjustments for setup.
• Performs math calculations to correctly set up a machine.
• Read and interpret blueprints checking parts to print to ensure that parts are manufactured to the specifications. Reviews and interprets job aids and shop orders.
• Reads, interprets, and completes routine paperwork, and records proper information to ensure the accuracy of inventory
• Selects correct tooling, ensures correct open height tonnage and weld settings, cleans tooling, and adjusts as needed. These activities may be performed up to 10 times per day.
• Uses measuring instruments such as verniers and gauges, to measure material, and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality parts.
