Job Profile

The company is looking for a Machine Operator who will operate production machines, and study blueprints and sketches to ensure all measurements are correct in the workpiece. Opportunities for cross-training on multiple machines may be available.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Adjusts and operates machine on trial run to verify the accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
• Assembles products as needed.
• Measures dimensions on the workpiece.
• Starts and runs machinery to produce product, detects malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
• Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and limited setup requirements.
• Tests operation of the unit to ensure functionality and performance.
• Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.
