The company is looking for a Machine Operator to join its team.

Educational Level

• High School Diploma or GED
• Relevant Certification

Work Experience

• Experience in similar role/function on the job

Duties/Responsibilities

• 1st piece inspection (check first piece/pieces per blueprints and BOMs)
• Discusses errors in diagrams or production orders with the supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly
• Moves control to position tool and workpiece about each other and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut
• Observes operation of the machine and verifies conformity of machined workpiece to specifications
• Positions and secures workpieces in holding devices, machine tables, chuck, centers, or fixtures
• Reads blueprint or job order for product specifications and tool instructions
• Requires ability to read blueprints and precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers
• Selects, positions, and secures tools in the tool holder
• Setup, layout, and operate various CNC lathes or mills

Routine Work Schedule-

• Adjusts, trim,s and fitting parts to close tolerances
• Follows visual aids (standard work) to ensure work is correct
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition – 5S
• Make up cartons, print labels, insert protective packing material, seal finishing product
• Meet efficiency rates
• Must be flexible to rotate job assignments within various work cells
• Perform quality checks to ensure quality specifications are met
• Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions
• Set up and Operate 3 and 5-axis CNC milling centers and CNC lathes
• Work within all safety guidelines and wear all required PPE
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervision
