Job Profile

The company is hiring a Machine Operator who will manufacture various parts including the use of various tools and inspection items.

Educational Level

• High School Diploma or GED, equivalent experience

Work Experience

• At least 6 months experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Inspect own work using various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gage, and optical comparator
• Maintain quality and production standards
• Perform secondary operations as required
• Read blueprints
• Work with engineering to support product development
• Incorporate lean practices into daily activities
• Participate in continuous improvement teams
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Willing to work overtime
• Operate and Setup-
• Manual Knee Mill
• Lathe
• Drill press
• Surface grinder
• CNC Milling machines (operate only)
• Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read, write English, and do basic math
• Must be physically able to lift 40 pounds regularly
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
