Job Profile

The company is searching for a Machine Operator who will be responsible for producing machined parts from various materials utilizing a variety of manual and CNC machines.

The position will report to the Shop Coordinator.

Educational Qualification

• The applicants may be required a High School Diploma

Work Experience

• The candidates should have 1 to 2 years of machine operation experience (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Contribute to our team environment by anticipating the needs of co-workers, bringing a positive attitude into our culture, and showing an eagerness to discover and share new opportunities for our organization
• Follow all company and common-sense safety policies, while using all required personal protective equipment, when necessary
• Operate manual and CNC lathes and mills with minimal supervision
• Perform minimal setup, load and unload machine(s), perform quality checks utilizing go / no go gauges
• Periodically read and interpret engineering drawings
• Utilize good verbal and written communication skills, able to read, comprehend and create written and verbal instructions in the English language

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
• Knowledge of the properties of metal and material required
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace
