The company is searching for a Machine Operator to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Work Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-production manufacturing environment

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment
• Knowledge of production techniques and can produce quality-building parts
• Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment
• Maintains continuous improvement practices in the work area
• Mark the part number, order number, and number of pieces on the parts. Attach identification tags as required for customers to have the ability to locate the correct parts
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation
• Repetitive climbing on and off of equipment and ladders
• Repetitive material handling. Some in awkward body positioning
• Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations
• Varying and extreme working conditions inside and outside (Hot, Cold, Rain, Shine)

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished parts
