Job Profile
The company is looking for a Machine Operator I to join its team.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Work Experience
- 2 plus years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintain documentation as per established quality standards and engineering test specifications.
- Perform tests and troubleshoot performance, leaks, and aesthetics of all Spencer blower and vacuum products.
- Perform trim balance.
- Set up and break down test fixtures using hoists, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment
- Set up and operation of fabricating machines, such as shears
- Work with various calibrated gauges not limited to vibration meters, temperature probes, volt, and amp meters.
- Work with variable frequency drives.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to read engineering documentation (drawings, test specifications).
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be familiar with the operation and connection of low to medium three-phase motors.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
- Ability to comfortably work around and with electricity
- Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Eyewear, Ear protection, and protective clothing when necessary
- Warehouse work environment, standing, stooping, bending, sitting, etc. for the duration of the shift
