Job Profile

The company is looking for a Machine Operator I to join its team.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Work Experience

  • 2 plus years of experience working in a manufacturing environment

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Maintain documentation as per established quality standards and engineering test specifications.
  • Perform tests and troubleshoot performance, leaks, and aesthetics of all Spencer blower and vacuum products.
  • Perform trim balance.
  • Set up and break down test fixtures using hoists, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment
  • Set up and operation of fabricating machines, such as shears
  • Work with various calibrated gauges not limited to vibration meters, temperature probes, volt, and amp meters.
  • Work with variable frequency drives.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to read engineering documentation (drawings, test specifications).
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be familiar with the operation and connection of low to medium three-phase motors.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

  • Ability to comfortably work around and with electricity
  • Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Eyewear, Ear protection, and protective clothing when necessary
  • Warehouse work environment, standing, stooping, bending, sitting, etc. for the duration of the shift
