License/Certification
- Crane operation certification required (may be obtained on-the-job)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving and loading out. Some light lifting required.
- Has working knowledge of spreaders, slings, and chokers as to strength and placement on loads
- Lifts, moves, and places loads, exercising care for the safety of other employees, material, property, and equipment
- Operate forklift and 15-ton or 35-ton cherry picker to move material around the yard and warehouse
- Performs a variety of work as an operator and other tasks as related to the operations of ongoing projects
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Blueprint reading and interpretation
- CNC machine operation
- General knowledge of fabrication tools and parts
- Preventive maintenance
- Quality control inspection
